First time eating Diner food in Monticello. This was the best Diner food I’ve ever had. I feel like I’ve never really had true Diner food till tonight. Service was also excellent. Good place to stop and grab some food. I had the General Tso’s chicken, which was good but not really spicy.
This place was more an experience than a meal. Some of the food was a little out there for me, but it was well prepared, the staff was friendly and attentive, and I got to try some things I would never have otherwise. Had an amazing experience here. I loved that everything was made in a traditional way, while using good quality ingrediants. I also really enjoyed the comfortable atmosohere and excellent service. I will come again when I visit Monticello.
It’s really a surprise (good) to us that we found really decent authentic food at Miss Monticello Diner in Monticello while almost every friend told me the best Diner food is in Monticello (we tried 2 restaurants with 4.5+ rate, neither impressed us). Now, I’ll have to disagree with them. The most precious matter we enjoyed is the detail attention the chef dedicated to the food.
